The Grainger Wind Symphony was formed in 1986 and is celebrating it’s 40th Anniversary!
This Community Archive is a place for stories, memories, anecdotes, reflections, and moments—big or small—that help tell the story of The Grainger Wind Symphony. If there’s something we haven’t asked about, we’d love to hear it.
One question is devoted to past players and another question is to people who have been in the audience of a GWS Concert.
The questions are not in any set order and are only to help as writing prompts. This is your story/s so please write about what resonates the most with you.
This Community Archive is an invitation for you to share your story or stories. The Community Archive will be open from Saturday 29th August 2026, the day of our celebration concert, and will close at the end of the year.
The stories in the archive will then be formatted and posted for others to enjoy.
