Alison Hocking – guest conductor
Alison has been studying conducting at the ABODA Summer Schoo, at the Yamaha Wind Orchestra Professional Development Project and in several GWS/ABODA Conducting Workshops. Alison has worked as an instrumental teacher and conductor at Academy of Mary Immaculate in Fitzroy and has just commenced as Head of Woodwind at Westbourne Grammar School in Hoppers Crossing. Alison is a regular saxophone player of The Grainger Wind Symphony.
Terence Teow – flute soloist

Terence graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and furthered his studies in the US at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a Master of Music. A native of Singapore, he was the principal flutist at the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band and has performed with ensembles including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Victorian Opera, Melbourne Lyric Opera and Metropolitan Festival Orchestra. Terence has been a prizewinner at the National Flute Association and at various competitions. He is currently the flute teacher at Balwyn High School.
Nicholas Constanzo – guest acoustic guitar soloist

Nicholas is a Melbourne based guitarist and music educator, graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2015. He has performed in a variety of contexts and styles and currently teaches guitar at Footscray High School and Balwyn High School.
STEPHEN COUTTS – guest operatic tenor

Stephen is an operatic tenor who has performed extensively with the Victorian Opera, Opera Su Presto, Victorian Concert Orchestra, Amore Duet, Melbourne Shakespeare Company and other leading companies around Australia. In the fields of opera, operetta and musical theatre, he has played many leading roles in productions and he currently studies under the tutelage of Australian operatic soprano, Jessica Pratt. Stephen was a Young Songmakers Scholar in 2019 with Songmakers Australia and was the Maroondah Singers Vocal Scholar between 2020-2023. His rich Tenor voice is celebrated for its depth and colour as well as its delightful light, lyrical quality.
As a graduate of Carey Baptist Grammar School, he performed in several of Carey Music Theatre Company’s productions conducted by Roland. Since then, he completed the opera course at the Victorian College of the Arts. In 2024 he first performed vocal solos with the Grainger Wind Symphony in this venue.
