The GWS proposes a Made In Australia Concert in 2024 giving the success of the 2023 project.
Closing date for 2024 submissions is 31st January 2024. THE 2024 PROJECT IS NOW CLOSED FOR NEW SUBMISSIONS. THE PROJECT WILL CULMINATE WITH A PRE-CONCERT TALK “MEET THE COMPOSERS” AT 6.15PM AND CONCERT AT 7.30PM ON SATURDAY 1ST JUNE 2024.
This project is focussed on emerging composers. Whilst there is no monetary reward to composers, the GWS is offering its resources to help composers delve deeper into writing music for the wind symphony genre and those short listed will have their work performed live!

The 2024 Made In Australia Concert is scheduled for Saturday 1st June in a concert venue in the Blackburn High School Auditorium.
