ABOUT
This concert features the 1st movement of Mahler’s Symphony No.2 “Resurrection”. Mahler is a significant influence of contemporary composers for wind bands. Alongside is the Symphonic Suite “A Cinema Trilogy” Studio Ghibli Collection by Joe Hisaichi – two movements which presented famous tunes from many of Hisaichi’s Studio Ghibli Anime films. Other works are by John Mackey, Percy Grainger and Robert Jager.
