THE GRAINGER WIND SYMPHONY CELEBRATES AUSTRALIAN COMPOSERS, NEW MUSIC, AND LEONARD BERNSTEIN
Richmond, VIC—The Grainger Wind Symphony will present its fourth concert for 2018: BERNSTEIN, GRAINGER, AND MAKING AUSTRALIA on Sunday, September 9 at St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Church St, Richmond. The concert will showcase new works by Australian Composers Dylan Hughes, Andrew Heuzenroeder, Peter Chaplin, and David Keeffe alongside additional music by Percy Grainger and Leonard Bernstein.

The Grainger Wind Symphony has a proud culture of championing emerging composers for the exciting wind band genre. This annual ‘Made in Australia’ concert tradition is a unique opportunity for composers to have their music workshopped, performed, and recorded by the musicians of The Grainger Wind Symphony.
